He is survived by: his wife Judith (Richardson); his children, Mike Ansems (Sandra), Laurie Sanders (Ken) and Paul Ansems (Sherry Randall); his grandchildren, Rachel, Derek, Ian (Krista), Kaitlyn (Justin), Kimberly (Steve), Evan (Ashlyn), Khyle, Alexander and Jayden; his great grandchildren, Emma, Adam, Erik, Claire, James, Ellie, Gavin, Quinn, Rowan, Owen, Dawson and Klayton; his siblings, Jacoba, Maria and Nivardus; and his siblings-in-law, Mary, Joanne, Viola, Donna, Jim and Bill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the North Middlesex District Community Centre (225 McLeod St, Parkhill, ON N0M2K0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Craigwiel Gardens Building Fund.
