He is survived by : his wife Peggy Lauder; his sons, Bill and Adam; his nieces, Amy and Leila; and his grandchildren, Avery and Ainsley.

In my many years of working with Rick in various programs at CAS, I was always struck by his enthusiasm, his extraordinary energy , and his capacity to see the best in people. Rick was steady, reliable, and caring; he had an impact on many youth and made a difference in many of their lives.
