He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Munro and Pearl Munro of Parkhill. He is survived by : his children, Tammy (Chris Grimster) and Jason (Miriam); his grandchildren, Brianne (Shaun Scott), Colton (Myah Cadman), Larah and Jia; his great grandchild Quinn; and his daughter Margaret Dodge.

“My sympathy to Ross's family. I worked with Oscar and he was a goer. One memory that will stick with me is I coming out of Denfield one day and the old rock truck was standing on it's tail, not Oscar's fault, when I got to the pit Oscar was standing beside it wiping off some hot coolant that had landed on him, he was not excited at all, that he was showing! I liked Ross, he was a good guy. Rob Marshall”
