He was predeceased by: his daughter Sherry; his parents, Rual Hurd and Elizabeth Hurd; and his siblings, Irva Stewart (Gord), Dianne Hurd and Neil Hurd (Lois).
He is survived by: his significant other Paula Hindle; his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law Peter; his grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Amber, Joshua and Shauna; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Hailey; and his sibling Arnett Hurd (Audery). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
