He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patricia and Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Piddington (Dean); his children, Heather Shaw (Glenn) and Kelly Austin (Kim); his grandchildren, Kaleigh (Mike), Mariah, Shalynn (Nick), Samantha (Dave) and Alyssa; his great grandchild Maxwell; his sister-in-law Margaret Piddington (late Wayne); his siblings, Larry (Maureen), Donna (Larry Quinn) and Marlene (Frank Perry); Eric Sr.. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka, or Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary would be appreciated.
