She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Doug Nelson; her children, Marnel Nelson (Michael Falvo) and Marshall Nelson (late Joyce Nelson); her siblings, Verta Mahood and Lynda Marshall; and her nieces and nephews, Casey, Jonathan, Quenby Mahood, Jewelle Schiedel-Webb and Juanita Moore. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
