He was predeceased by: his father Harri Malmstrom. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Malmstrom; his sister Kari Malmstrom (Gaetanne); his in-laws, Larry and Marie Fletcher; his children, Nick (Samantha) and Kylie; his stepchildren, Benjamin Kewaquado and Jessica Kewaquado (Troy); his grandchildren, Andrew (Maddy), Brody, Layla, Henley, Bowen and Sosi; and his close friend Mick Edington (Christine).
