We are sad to announce that, on April 13, 2026, at the age of 90, Leah Michaelis (Parry Sound, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Margaret (Elmore), Katri, Tuula, Mary and Bentti; and her parents, Otto Emil and Helmi Alexandra Kasurinen.
She is survived by: her husband Ross Michaelis; her daughters, Kathryn Fitch (Kevin) and Karri Michaelis (Eric); her grandsons, Andrew Fitch (Lisa) and Tyler Fitch (Candis); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Hank and Nora. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
