Family, friends, and acquaintances remember McClaskin for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. McClaskin’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his mother June McClaskin; and his daughter Amanda. He is survived by: his daughters, Jacklynn Hirschfeld-McClaskin (Melissa), Cherelle McClaskin (Andrew Healey) and Ashley McClaskin; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Jennifer, Troy and Zoe; and his great grandchild Elias. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rusty's memory to Canadian Blood Services, in recognition of the many blood transfusions that extended his time with those he loved, or to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation, whose compassionate staff provided exceptional care throughout his journey.
