He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelis and Klazina; and his siblings, Helen, Chris and Casey.

He is survived by: his children, Valerie (Scott), Kerrie (Jeff), Renee (Guy) and Mark (Krista); his grandchildren, Brandon, Rylan, Cara, Cooper, Kendra, Taeryn, Chase and Britain; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lucas and Jacob.
