We announce the death of Ruby Shebahkeget (Pawitik, Ontario), who passed away on November 2, 2026, at the age of 66. Ruby will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Louis Paul and Rose Shebagegit; and her siblings, Donna Paul, Donald Paul and Kendall Paul.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Abigail; her daughter Monica; her grandchildren, Savannah and Harmony; her great grandchildren, Lotus and Dominic; her siblings, Elaine Paul, Mark Paul, Teresa Paul and Marshall Paul; and her close friend Dora Henry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Northwest Angle #33 Dogpaw Community Hall (Pawitik, Ontario). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
