He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Theresa McCarter; his parents, Frederick McCarter and Marcelline McCarter; and his daughter-in-law Suzanne. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Angie McCallan), Cathy Freifeld (Craig), Mike (Mireille), Don (Sharon) and Colleen McCarter; his grandchildren, Lisa (Adam), Scott (Mary), Bradley, Ted (Kristen), Grant (Meda), Anik (Serge), Renee, Shannon (Jonathan), Brendan, Lauren (Evan), Samantha (Josh) and Shawn (Erin); and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Morgan, Caeleb, Hunter and Nathan.
