She was predeceased by: her former husband Ken Widenmaier; and her parents, Theodore Vullings and Mary Vullings. She is survived by: her husband Grant Edward 'Ted Mahood; her children, Mandy Taylor (Jason) and Shawn (Angela); her grandchildren, Casey, Jillian, Desmond and Marlo; and her siblings, Gerard Vullings (Myrnah), Lambert Vullings (Jennifer), Wilma Boisvenue (Frank) and Nelly Krzyzanowski (Mike). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Mieke requested donations to the Pembroke 50 + Active Living Centre, Pembroke.
