With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anna Peter of Pembroke, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Anna left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Trautrim and Ande Trautrim; and her siblings, John Trautrim (Anneliese), Marie Hammel (late Edmund), Henry Trautrim (Herta) and Martin Trautrim (late Gerda).
She is survived by: her husband Heinz Peter; her children, Sonja (Alfred), James and Linda; her grandchildren, George, Anna, Victoria, Ben and Jenny; her great grandchildren, Lara, Emily, Gus, Ernie and Simon; and her sisters, Eva Hagenah (late Herman) and Dina Schuetz (late Albert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home (141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home (141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Timothy's Lutheran Cemetery (652 Boundary Rd E, Pembroke, ON K8A6M9).
