It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Mitton (Pembroke, Ontario), who passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Mitton; her parents, Leonard Gorr and Laura Gorr (Mathieu); and her sister Lois Read (late John). She is survived by: her daughter Karen Mitton; her granddaughter Sarah Mitton (Jamie Kreipe); her great grandchild Claire Betts of Calgary; and her siblings, Shirley Parker (Ron), Joan Butler (late Bev), Garry Gorr (Mary), Ron Gorr (Donna) and Terry Gorr (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (284 Trafalgar Rd, Pembroke, ON K8A5A6).
