He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eccles and Olive Patricia Eccles; his daughter Hope; and his sister Moira Hughes. He is survived by: his child Jackie Wittke; and his siblings, Bill Eccles (Edith), Peter Eccles (Denise), Gina Churoskie (Danny), Sheila Eccles (Gary Ranger) and Adam Eccles (Julie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
