Brian Pirie Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Pirie (Pembroke, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Versal; his sister Lynn; and his nephew Josh. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Pirie; his children, Chris Pirie (Corinna) of Fort-McMurray and Ashley Beckett (Alex) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Steven, Nash and Cruz; his mother Carol Pirie of Shawville; his brothers, Blair and Blake (Gayle); his brother-in-law Randy (Martha); and his nephews, Greg, Ryan, Nick, Jason, Ty, Spencer, Brady and Carter.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home (141 Renfrew St, Pembroke, ON K8A5R8). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calendrier Shawville United Church (410 Rue Main, Shawville, QC J0X2Y0).
