He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Gesner and Olive Gesner; and his sister Rosemarie Gesner. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gesner; his children, Stephanie Gesner (Andy Bugg) of Vienna and Jeff Gesner (Jessica) of Vancouver, BC.; his grandson Jack Bugg; his siblings, Art Gesner (Linda), Carleton Place, Cathy Porteous (Dave) and Terry Yach (Jim) of Arnprior; and his son Jeffrey.
