He was predeceased by: his parents, Odilon Bernatchez and Aline Bernatchez; and his siblings, Geraldine (Thérèse) and Jean-Marc. He is survived by: his wife Murielle Bernatchez; his sons, Michel (Lillian), Serge (Marilyn), Pierre (late Divina) and Guy (Brenda); his siblings, Lina, André (Elizabeth), Raymond (Claire) and Maurice (Pat); his grandchildren, John, Matthew, Caitlin, Nathaniel, Keenan, Derek and Chantal; his great grandchildren, Genesis, Landon and Lylah; and his sister-in-law Rita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
