We announce the death of Constance Irene Smith in Pembroke, Ontario, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her son Aaron Smith (Kari Fraser); her siblings, Mary McNeely, Patricia "Pat" Loucks, John "Jack" Pegg, Bernard Pegg, Tom Pegg, Jim Pegg, George Pegg and Mike Pegg; and her parents, Charles Pegg and Mabel Pegg.
She is survived by: her husband Kent Smith of Eganville; her son Graeme Smith (Julie Goodman) of Canton; her granddaughters, Rachael and Hannah; and her sisters, Elizabeth DeKleine (Laurens) and Evelyn Fry. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (96 Argyle St S, Renfrew, ON K7V1T3). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Horton Cemetery (2491 Johnston Rd, Renfrew, ON K7V1T9).
