We announce the death of David Jonas (Pembroke, Ontario), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 69. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Sheila Jonas and Betty Jonas; and his father Herbert. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Jomas; his children, Crystal Courtney (Jason) and Nathan Jonas; his grandchildren, Zoe, Peyton, Logan Courtney, Oliver and Emma Jonas; and his brother Bruce Jonas (Mary Lou). He is also survived by nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home (296 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5S9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
