It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Metzger (Pembroke, Ontario), who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Margaret Metzger; his brother Lewis (Pat); his children, David Andrew (Karen Antler), Debra Elaine (Michael Devine) and Margaret Ellen; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Andrew McGilligan), Emily, Brianne (Jonathan Leach), Sean Geyssen and Daniel Devine (Sofi); his great grandchildren, Harper, Olive, Ethan and Gabrielle; his siblings, Robert Bocking (Erane) and Vivienne Tapanila (Ted); Keith.

In recognition of Dave's generous spirit, the family suggests donations to: Lake Chad Restoration Project (Africa), or Zion Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
