He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Whittington; his parents, Albert Whittington and Minnie Whittington; and his siblings, Margaret Whittington, Tommy Whittington, Clifford Wood and Ted Wood.

He is survived by: his former wife Gladys Henry; his children, Clifford Whittington, Alice, Dean Whittington (Janice Verch), Tracy Whittington (Jason Burgess), Jason Whittington (Kim Warriner-Whittington) of Kamloops, B. C, Christina Butler (Christopher Butler) and Amanda Schunk (Benjamin Schunk); his grandchildren, Bradley, Eric, Benjamin, Coleton, Bryce, Devon, Nicholas, Carver and Gabriel; his great grandchild Nevaeh; and his sister Joyce Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
