He is survived by: his spouse Angie O'Halloran; his stepchildren, Britney O'Halloran and Braydon Van Hoof; his parents, Murray Wright and Mary Wright of Toronto; his siblings, Lisa Wright (Joe) and Pickering; his nephew Scott; and his niece Hailey. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Service with Military Honours will be on Saturday afternoon, October 20th at 1 o'clock in St. Georges Chapel, Garrison Petawawa.In lieu of flowers and in memory of Derek, donations to Rotel Ottawa 411 Smythe Road or The Guild of The Royal Canadian Dragoons would be appreciated.
