He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Boland; and his parents, William "Bill" and Margaret Boland. He is survived by: his children, Steven Boland (late Sandy), Catherine Kauffeldt (Ken), Kelly Boland (Cathy) and Tami Smith (Michael); his grandchildren, Carl Boland (Tonya), Kevin Boland (Michelle), Laura Hiltz (James), Jennifer Burns (Michael), Jason Kauffeldt (Kate), Carol Boland (Andrew Aubrey), Thomas Boland (Amy Crotenko), Amanda and Colin Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Carnegie and Joan Lehman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
