He was predeceased by: his son Rick; his grandson Joey; his parents, Aristide Gauthier and Clara Gauthier; and his siblings, Laurette Lacombe (Ben), Aline Caron (Adrian), Vincent (Cecile), Dick (Doris), Ephrem (Carmel), Johnny (Angela), Gaston (Rosie) and Roger Gauthier (June).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Decaire-Gauthier; his children, Michelle Martens (Rick) and Gilles Gauthier (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jess, Alyssa, Tara, Alex, Jason, Teia, Sean, Taylor, Tanner, Addrien, Lindsay and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Jalen, Hudson, Kaitlyn, Finn, Sawyer, Sadie, Sabastien, Charlie and Rose; his stepsons, Barry (Laurie), Brian (Anna) and Brent Decaire (Sherry); and his sibling Giselle Decevito (Vince).
