It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Desjardins (Pembroke, Ontario), who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Douglas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Douglas. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rennie Desjardins and Helen Desjardins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Desjardins; his children, Leah Desjardins (JP Savard), Gatineau and Luke Desjardins (Lesley Wilkinson); his grandchildren, Esmé, Miles, Edward and Alexandra; and his sister Nancy Clark of Pembroke.
