He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lukus and Victoria Lukus; his former wife June Lukus; his siblings, Gilbert, Benjamin, Nancy, Edith and Eileen; and his stepdaughter Judy.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lukus; his daughters, Wendy Schilkie (late Leo) of Pembroke and Lori Léger (Paul) of Calgary; his stepchildren, Patricia, Ron, Don, Brenda and Barbara; his grandchildren, Todd, Ryan, Philippe-André and Christian; and his sisters, Pauline, Dianne and Darlene.
