She was predeceased by: her husband John Lawrence McNamara; her children, David, Daryl McNamara and Nancy Garrett; and her siblings, Grace Vallee (late Joseph), Jacqueline Irving (late Gerald), Vincent Melancon, Douglas Melancon, Sidney Melancon and Gregory Melancon.

She is survived by: her son Larry McNamara (Bonnie) of Cumberland; and her grandchildren, Adam, Laura, Justin and Patrick.

In memory of Betty, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Residents Fund of Pinewood Retirement Home, would be appreciated.
