She was predeceased by: her husband Brian Black; her daughter Wilma Black; her siblings, Edith Pacey (late Alymer), Ruby King (late John Ferguson) and Clarence "Bud" Cook (Bertha); her parents, Stanley Cook and Clara Cook; and her siblings-in-law, Keith Black (late Stella Leach), Neil Black (late Mary Berry), Callie Logan (late Martin), Alice Gilmour (late Elmer Mick) and Pansy Prange (late Gordon).

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Tripp (late Jim) and Barbara Woods (late Gordon); her grandchildren, Kathleen Tripp (Kevin), Amanda Tripp, Bill Tripp, Shannon Crosby (Mat), Lindsay Woods (Mike) and Kate Woods (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Declan and Brigid; and her siblings, Clara James (late Edward), George (Beth), Elmer, Edward (Viv), Doug (late Mary) and Fred Cook (Florence). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
