He was predeceased by: his son Ronald Thrasher; his stepson Kevin Schilkie; and his brothers, Alvin (Lorraine), Gary (Jeannette), Ebert (Sandra) and Raymond (Rosemarie).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Thrasher; his daughter Sarah Thrasher (Yavar); his stepsons, Mike Schilkie (Deb) and Rob Schilkie (Colleen); his grandchildren, Ben, Allyson, Mariah and Jack; and his siblings, Judy Hearty (Dale), Helen Donnelly (John) and Lyn Thrasher (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Evans, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated.
