He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Foss and Freida Foss; and his siblings, Victor Foss (late Elsie), Margaret Barrie (late Bill), Willard Foss (late Phyllis) and Phyllis Blok (late Bert).

He is survived by: his wife Betty Foss; his children, Patricia Foss and Jeffrey Foss (Kim); his grandchildren, Jordan Foss, Meagan Foss, Courtney Johnston (Derek) and Michael Foss; his great grandchildren, Emmett and Elowyn Johnston; and his sister Myrtle Ashwin (late Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service was held.
