We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2023, at the age of 81, Geraldine Charkavi (Pembroke, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Welland Charkavi; her parents, Philip Carroll and Cecilia Carroll; her siblings, Albert (Rita), Elmer (Norma), Clifford (Pearl), Loretta (Noel Lair), Michael and Gerald; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Van Wert (Robert), Bernadette Lauzon (Rene) and Grady Lewis.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Oshawa (Diana Harper), Paul Costa Blanca (Suzanne Brisebois) and Stephen Pembroke (Jennifer Duff); her grandchildren, Philip (Rebecca), Drew (Aislynn Row), Robert (Jessica), Aleck (Hayley Krueger), Darby (Gabriela Pineda), Katie Harper and Tara Harper (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Ben, Ashton, Rachel and Morgan; her siblings, Cecilia Demers Pembroke (late Leo), Theresa Coulombe Pembroke (Paul) and Earl Carroll (Mary) of Brockville; her niece Maryanne Gosnell; and her friend Ellen Beanish.
