Though Gertrude may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gertrude touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Hollett; her daughter Pamela Hollett; and her parents, Sydney Leslie and Catherine Leslie. She is survived by: her children, Pat Hollett (Marie), Blaine Hollett (Lillian) and Angus; her grandchildren, Bradley, Shawn, Adele and Myles; and her great grandchild Callum.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (11 Mohns Ave, Petawawa, ON K8H2B5).
