She was predeceased by: her spouse Vernon Barker; her parents, Simon Schimmens and Sophia Schimmens; and her siblings, Harry, Mervin, Murray, Margaret Dailey, Rebecca Schreader, Ruby Kranz, Jean Vant and Alice Schimmens.
She is survived by: her child Wayne Barker (Linda); her grandchildren, Sean (Reina), Sheri (Rich) and Corey (Amy); her great grandchildren, Kayla, Austin and Ava; and her sisters-in-law, Caroline Barker, Mary Schimmens and Donna Videto.
In memory of Grace, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
