With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Tabbert (Pembroke, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Tabbert; her parents, Ferdinand Hammel and Alvina Hammel; and her siblings, Marion Ashick (late Garnet), Audrey Hamilton (late Reg), Verner (late Idella), Ellard and Harvey Hammel (Irene).
She is survived by: her children, Harold Tabbert (Sheila), Mark Tabbert, Ruth Lehman (Paul), Joan Lehman (David) and Douglas Tabbert; her grandchildren, Justin, Alyson, Heidi (Jason), Jamie, Kelsey, Ellen, Daniel, Lauren (Peter), Logan and Madison; and her sister Erma O'Connor (late John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (533 Borne Rd, Pembroke, ON K8A6W8).
