He was predeceased by: his spouse Fay Carnegie; his parents, Archie Carnegie and Pearl Carnegie; and his siblings, Patsy Robinson (late Howard), Donna Schroeder (late Milton), Arthur (Audrey), Darwin (late Agatha) and Keith Carnegie (Vivian).

He is survived by: his children, Steven Carnegie, Penny Prince (Darwin) and Laurie Beauchamp; his grandchildren, Christa Leal (Wade), Julie Bramburger (Trevor), John Rose and Daniel Beauchamp; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, Carter, Georgia and Joshua. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
