She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyona Johnston (Neville) and Gerald Johnston; her sister-in-law Bernie Johnston; and her pets, Cleo and Lucy.

She is survived by: her brother Robert (Phyllis Pigeon); her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Lisa, Gerry, Kathy, Stacey and Ian; her sister Patricia (Paul Denault); her nieces, Christine, Andrea and Paula; her brother Arthur (Carolyn Stanton); her nephew Greg; her nieces, Melissa and Kara; and her great-niece Bonnie (Murray Mullen). She is also survived by brothers, and other beloved cousins and numerous relatives.

Donations in honour of Heather may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society Soup Kitchen (The Cathedral, Pembroke) where Heather volunteered.
