He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Harmer and Madeline Harmer; and his siblings, Douglas Harmer (late Sylvia), James Harmer (Grace), Phyllis Wagner (late Tom) and Marjorie Countryman (late Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Raymonde Harmer; his children, Madeleine Harmer (Brenda Bourque) and Trevor Harmer; his stepson Michel Chenier (Diane Lafrance); his grandchildren, Keenan Chenier, Alexander Boudens, Hanah Boudens, Connor Boudens and Tyson Harmer; his great grandchild Wren; and his brother Victor Harmer (Pat).
