It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Silke nee Pelletier of Pembroke, Ontario, who passed away peacefully on October 31st 2018 at Pembroke Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.
Loving spouse and best friend of Raymond Silke Sr. for 62yrs.
Adored by children Raymond (Petra) Silke Jr, Susie (Denis) Mahoney, Cathy (Sylvain) Marion, Joanne (Steve) Silke.
Cherished grandchildren Raymond (Tania) Silke JrJr., Tim (Dawn) Silke, Kyle (Margo) Hoffman, Nick (Samantha) Hoffman, Jack Mahoney, Jordan Silke, Liam Silke, Athena (Jonny) Van Hoof, Therran MacLellan.
Cherished great-grandchildren Emma, Jake, Alicia, Marshall, Gabriel, Delilah, Wyatt, Ella, Kate, Ben.
Survived by siblings Louise (Paul) Bunville, Carol (Orville) Faught, Mike (Joan) Pelletier, Paul (Sally) Pelletier, Maurice (Cathy) Pelletier.
Sister in law of Sheila (Mike) Plebon, Pat Pelletier and brother in law Brian Silke, Bob Deighton, Brian McNulty.
Pre-deceased by parents Aurele and Yolande Pelletier neeProulx, siblings Paulette Rosamond, John Pelletier, Lise Deighton, Claire McNulty.
Irene was a beautiful soul with a smile that would light up a room. She will truly be missed by long time family friends, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on November 18th 2018 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (170 Ellis Ave,, Pembroke, Ontario). From 12-1pm there will be a time for family and friends to share stories/memories. Starting at 1pm there will be food, drink, music, and laughter to celebrate Irene. Please bring singing voices and instruments as Irene loved listening to music and dancing.
In lieu of flowers please donate to your locate SPCA. Irene loved all animals especially feeding the squirrels and stray cats.
Irene will now be able to rest with her beloved dog Biscuit.
