We are sad to announce that, on March 26, 2026, Iris McLaren (Pembroke, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Iris' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Iris' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Conroy and Ed Conroy of Westmeath, ON.; her spouse Daryl McLaren; her son Michael McLaren; her sisters, June McLeod (Bill) and Phyllis Meloche (Peter); and her sister-in-law Etha Linton.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kimberly McLaren (Pilgrim); her sister Noreen Desjardins (late Reuben); and her sister-in-law Annette Conroy (late Edison). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church building fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
