Ivan Howard Gilchrist Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2021, Ivan Howard Gilchrist (Pembroke, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gilchrist and Mary Gilchrist (Obrey); and his siblings, Jack (late Vivian), Russell, Cecil, Duncan, Bernie (Sandra), Gerry (late Winnifred), Ernest (Verna), Donald, Roy (late Noreen), Kenneth, Bert (Judy), Mervin (Shirley), Minerva Leach, Vera Alexander, Betty Hobbs (late Sidney) and Beatrice Byce (late Harold).

He is survived by: his wife Jolene Splaine; his children, Bruce Angus (Helen) and Blair Barrie (Kim); his grandchildren, Keegan (Katelyn), Karlyn Field (Jacob), Zac and Alexis; his great grandchild Emmitt Field; and his siblings, June Bowes (late Clifford), James (Mary), Carl (Jean) and Ray (Nadia).

Cremation has taken place and there is no visitation or service due to Covid.

In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Ivan can be made to The Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Pembroke, Ottawa Heart Institute or The Lung Associations.
