In loving memory of Janet Borne (Pembroke, Ontario), who departed this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 100. Janet leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Robert Borne; her parents, Peter Rabishaw and Alvina Rabishaw; her aunt Agnes Brisebois; and her siblings, Irene Lavigne, Soulange Rabishaw, Theresa Chaput, Jeanine Rabishaw, Antoinette Ranger, Parnel Rabishaw, Aurel Rabishaw and Andrew Rabishaw.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Bob) of Pembroke, Rick (Siobhan) of Pembroke and Bonnie Coleman (Michael) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Jody Goldberg (Gord), Jennifer Davidson (Michael), Chad Borne (Leilani), Erin Schweigert (Joe), Joshua Coleman (Kyrsti) and Alicia Young (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Raegan Goldberg, Keely Goldberg, Brendan Hennessy, Olivia Borne, Morgan Borne, Xavier Davidson, Oliver Davidson, Felix Davidson, Payton Schweigert, Emmett Schweigert, Everlee Coleman and Ezra Young; and her great great grandchild Wyatt Goldberg.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (284 Trafalgar Rd, Pembroke, ON K8A5A6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of the Little Flower in honour of Mom's love for St. Therese of Lisieux.
