He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Karau and Clara Karau. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Karau; his children, Adam, Ian and Sara; his sister Marilyn Provost (Dick); and his siblings-in-law, Isobel Watson (Barry) and Glen McMullen (late Penny). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (357 Miller St, Pembroke, ON K8A5Y8). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
