He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Derion and Jean Derion; and his siblings, Larry Derion, Donald Derion, Shirley Derion, Mary Schauer and Brian Derion.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Derion, Beatrice Swan, Leo Derion (Pasty), Joseph Derion (Dorothy) and Raymond Derion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
