He was predeceased by: his wife Wendy Jansen; his daughter Tracy Headley; his siblings, Ruth Nap (late Joe), Anna Ryksen and Gary Jansen; and his parents, Johan Jansen and Willemijntjie Jansen.

He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Jansen (Tapatha) of Airdrie, AB; his son-in-law Ron Headley; his grandchildren, Jesse Headley and Justin Headley (Morgaine); his siblings, Piet Jansen (May), MeintjieDeWal (late Hotze), Jelis Jansen (Ann), Daniel Jansen (Donna), Henry Jansen (Betty), Rudy Jansen (Maureen), Jane Zurbrigg (Michael), Joyce Van Vliet (Rick) and Corrie Fransen (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, John Ryksen and Sandra Jansen.
