We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2021, at the age of 74, John Thomas of Pembroke, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Thomas to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thomas and Jeanne Thomas; his brother Wilfred; his niece Nicole; his mother-in-law Lillian McGuire; his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Kelly and Phyllis Tallon (late Jim); and his nephew Stephen Vickers.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kelly (Dot); his brother Peter Thomas; his nieces, Miranda and Natalie Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Nollie Vickers (late Mike) and Sheila Greenough.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 11 a. m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID - FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MASS Spring Interment at St. Columba's Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated.

We talked of me running for Parliament and he for the provincial seat, and often along with Harry McCann, did this over pizza at the Bonanza restaurant. And then we separated, John went to St. Mary's Teachers College in Chapeau, I to Carleton, and I don't know what happened to Harry. Be at peace John.”
