We are sad to announce that, on February 23, 2026, at the age of 77, Kathryn Silke (Pembroke, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kathryn has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her spouse T. J. Silke; her parents, Edward Mielke and Margaret Mielke; and her brother Alvin Mielke (Patricia). She is survived by: her children, Carrie Silke (Terry Prange) and Shawn Silke (Jen); her grandchild Kensie; her siblings, Greg Mielke (Heather) and Angela Meredith (Tom); and her close friends, Gail and Carl Day.
