He was predeceased by: his parent Kenneth Markell. He is survived by: his spouse Elaine Markell; his parent Shirley Markell; his siblings, Lillian Finn (Bob), Susan Bond (Abby) and Michael Markell; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Van Strepen, Bridgette Williams, Sean Van Strepen, Diane Harrison (Steve), Albert Van Strepen (Linda) and Angel Williams.
