He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Clara; his brother Melvin; his nephew Kirk Syrie; and his siblings-in-law, Alec and Bernice Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Violet; his daughters, Debbie Pembroke (late Lee Lapierre), Karen, Ottawa and Nancy Victoria (Steen Magnussen); his sister June; his siblings-in-law, Norval Gutziet and Joyce Gutziet; his nieces and nephews, Dana and Shawn; and also, Lovingly, Uncle Ken, Lee Ann, Mark, Ellen and Kirk Plummer.
In lieu of flowers donations to Dementia Society (formerly the Alzheimer Society) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
